The Office of the Ombudsman inaugurated its fourth Ombudsman Assistance Center (OAC) on 28 November 2024 at the City Mall in Tuguegarao City, Cagayan. The center is designed to provide responsive and streamlined frontline services, including assisting walk-in clients with the filing of complaints, submitting Statements of Assets, Liabilities, and Net Worth, and processing of Ombudsman clearances.
The ribbon-cutting ceremony was led by Deputy Ombudsman Jose Balmeo, Jr., Assistant Ombudsman Rex Sandoval, City Mall Supervisor Vicente Catulin, Jr., and consultant Atty. Carlo Bala. They were joined by support personnel: Ruben Gonzales, Armand Beran, and Rose Ann Barasi.
This initiative marks a significant step towards improving access to Ombudsman services in the region. ###
